"Our Story"

In the heart of South Georgia, nestled among sprawling fields and tall pines, the story of Bobwhite Coffee Company began with simple ideas: to provide the best cup of coffee as well as create a place that celebrates the charm and warmth of southern living.

Founded by a pair of friends, the shop was inspired while spending time on the front porch, sipping on a hot cup of coffee.  One day, while reminiscing they decided it was time to blend their love for community with the one thing that energizes everyones day, coffee. They envisioned a space where people could come together and savor life—much like the leisurely moments spent on that beloved porch.  That’s where the phrase “front porch state of mind” was born.

The name “Bobwhite” pays homage to the spirited game bird often heard in the woods.  The Quail is a symbol of the rich wildlife and vibrant culture of the south. The logo features a Bobwhite Quail rising up from the brush which reflects the essence of South’s natural beauty.

With the tagline “Front Porch State of Mind,” Bobwhite Coffee Company invites patrons to embrace a slower pace, where every cup of coffee is an opportunity for connection. Swing by for a brief drive thru stop or sit on our “front porch” and enjoy the atmosphere of a warm and inviting farm-like experience, decorated with rustic wooden accents, while capturing the essence of southern hospitality.  From regionally roasted beans, to our simple southern breakfast items, ice cream and community events, Bobwhite Coffee Company can quickly become a beloved local hub. It stands as a testament to the power of friendship, memories, and the simple joy of gathering over a cup of coffee—bringing a little piece of that front porch feel to everyone that visits.
